Christine and Paul's Cape Cod Wedding!

I was thrilled when our awesome family doctor called and asked if I would be available to photograph her nephew’s wedding in Massachusetts! I was already excited to do it when she offered the use of her family’s cabin in Maine. And so last summer, I headed off to photograph Christine and Paul’s wedding in Cape Cod, with a bonus reunion with my east coast family at the cabin!

Christine and Paul’s wedding had all of the sweet warmth of a family reunion and beautiful backyard wedding in beautiful Cape Cod and I was so lucky to be there to capture it!

The wedding took place in Paul’s grandparents’ home, which is a 1700s farmhouse that has been the site of family gatherings for generations. Christine and Paul are the sweetest couple who love to flea market find and upcycle and so the wedding had so many wonderful personal touches— the 100 or so plates were all collected over the course of the year by both Christine and Paul’s mothers, the cloth napkins were sewn by a family friend, Paul’s mother and grandmother lovingly assembled the flowers, his uncle shucked oysters and Christine’s childhood friend made the cake.  All of these little touches made the event feel all the more intimate and sweet!
