Kaitlin & Lauren's Engagement Images

I loved the engagement session I did with Lauren and Kaitlin a few weeks ago. We had a session with big mountain views planned, but when it started snowing at the last minute, we decided to just go down by the river instead. And although I love mountains, this worked out really well. It's a good reminder that it's totally fine to keep things simple, to just focus on two people being together, on faces and emotions. Kaitlin and Lauren are so cute together and it's fun to have images that capture their joy!When I asked about their dynamic together, they said they were, 'playfully sarcastic," which, after spending a couple of hours with them, seems to fit them perfectly. They also describe their relationship as playful, dynamic, active, loving, outdoorsy, passionate and adventurous-- they were all of these things together!They also have the sweetest engagement story: Kaitlin set up a whole weekend on the Oregon coast. Lauren thought it was for a birthday party for her niece. Instead, Kaitlin proposed during sunset on the beach, and then surprised Lauren with her whole family traveling in from the east coast to spend the weekend with them!
