It's All About the Details!
It is always amazing to me to see just how different each wedding I shoot really is. The couple, their friends and family (and their wedding planner if they have one) really make sure to put their personality and special touches into every last detail of the day. One of my favorite parts of shooting a wedding, is capturing these details for the bride and groom to look back at for years to come. So I have put together some of my favorite touches from recent weddings for you to peruse.Lace, buttons, ribbons, and bling always make for beautiful dresses and great photos! And of course it is all about the shoes- snow boots, funky socks, cowgirl boots, high heels.....and even pink running shoes just in case you need to make a dash for it!Who can resist a cute kid at a wedding? I know I can't and so I don't even try. I just love the creative ways couples incorporate children into their big day. My personal favorite.... the unicorn flower girls at Jole & Stephen's wedding. The girls were so into it!Gifts to wedding guests and the bridal party are a great way to add a personal touch. Here in SUN Valley, a practical and fun gift are sunglasses, of course. But folks have been so creative over the past couple of years. Home-made birdseed ornaments and hand-crafted Idaho cutting boards were two of my favs.Guest "books" make an appearance in varying forms! A log slice, an old school K2 ski, and Jenga building blocks top the list.Wondering how to "find your seat" at a wedding? Lots of fun ways to make seating arrangements part of the style of your day. While professional photos are amazingly important to document your day (yes, I am bias of course), couples have also found candid photos can be a fun way for guests to have a blast and make sure to leave a lasting impression on the future Mr. & Mrs.! Thanks for taking the time to look through these fun details. If you know any future brides, send them to our blog for some idea cruising #dkweddinginspiration!
