Lindsy & Justin's Rustic Hailey, Idaho Wedding
I have been missing in action a bit for the last couple of weeks because Gurmeet, the kids and I (and three other families) just got back from a trip to Honduras on Monday! It was a great, and much needed vacation, and I can't wait to share some of the photos! We arrived home to frigid temperatures and are just getting adjusted to the cold, though we are excited for skiing, the holidays and all the fun winter stuff.I know that there is snow on the ground, but there is one more wedding that I really want to share from the fall, so here is Justin and Lindsy's wedding, which was at a great private property in Starweather. Justin is a wine guy and he and Lindsy met when she and her parents were on a tasting trip in wine country. She thought he was cute, he liked her, and the rest is history. Pretty cute story for a pretty cute couple. As a little nod to their story, there were grapes hanging among the flowers in the arbor, and the wine from Justin's winery being poured all night.Lindsy is one of those people that loves the details. She thrives on the organization, making each little detail important and meaningful. That was one of the things that made working with her and Justin so fun. I love it when couples think through each little thing, so that every little sign, cupcake or program has meaning. It is one of those things that makes a wedding truly unique and helps me love what I do. One of the fun little details, is the New Balance shoes everyone was wearing. Justin just loves New Balance and wears them every day, so Lindsy wore a customized pair with her name and their wedding date, as did the groom and all of his groomsmen. The other thing that made being Lindsy and Justin’s photographer so special is how genuine they both are. They are the sweetest and most generous people you will meet. After a few meetings, taking Justin ice skating for the first time during their engagement session, and photographing their wedding, I feel like we are great friends. One more thing that must be mentioned about Lindsy and Justin’s wedding is the dancing! There were some very impressive dancers on that dance floor. It was like a break dance competition scene from a movie, with one move upstaging the next. Everyone was captivated. After a few minutes, word got back to the catering staff, who was peeking through the windows of the tent to get a look.As Lindsy keeps telling me in her emails, I’m sad the wedding is over, we were having so much fun!Lindsy kept saying that they felt so lucky to have picked so many great vendors, and I agree with her for sure-- it was a great team!
