The story of Alicia and Eric's album
I absolutely love shooting weddings— the planning, the hustle and excitement, the way the couples look at each other. Every wedding day has its own unique style, flavor, and feel and I love capturing that for couples to remember for years to come. Putting together someone’s wedding album with them is such a fun process of helping them craft their story into something tangible that they can hold onto.
I was reminded just how special an album can be, when one of our wedding couples Alicia and Eric reached out. They had sadly just lost their home in the California fires and Alicia told me that there were two things that they really cared about and wanted to replace. One was their Ketubbah— their Jewish marriage license— and the other was the wedding album we had put together for them. They were wondering if we could have their’s reprinted, which of course we are so happy to be able to help them with. It’s so wonderful that flipping through your wedding album can bring back floods of happy memories of friends, family, laughter and joy! We all need to relive those special moments once in a while.
