It's Officially Summer!
Summer is such a whirlwind in the valley! There’s never enough time to work on the garden, play hard and have all sorts of adventures, make dinner and get the kids to bed on time. You can’t do it all, but you have to try, right?? So when my sister and her family invited us to drive to Stanley after work for a quick float on the Salmon River in Stanley (to take advantage of the last warm day in the forecast), we just couldn’t say no! And so we found ourselves getting out on the river at 6:30, with a storm brewing behind us.
I had a moment of thinking how crazy we are, always trying to fit a million things in, but it was wonderful. We managed to just out run the storm, the light was incredible, we all had a ton of fun, and even though we didn’t get to bed till 11:30 (and had to be in Twin Falls the next morning for soccer), I’m so glad that we did it!
