Dads don't always get as much credit as they deserve - sometimes we default to portraying dads like they are dopey and can't do anything right when it comes to parenting. But we all know that isn’t true — dads are great and are just as good at parenting as moms are! I’ve been lucky enough to work with a LOT of families over the years taking portraits, and of course, as it turns out, dads totally know what they are doing. I've seen and captured an untold number of sweet moments between fathers and kids. I've seen dads pack diaper bags, clean up scraped knees, carry teddy bears, and talk about their children with the same affection as moms do.

In my experience as a parent, I’ve been lucky enough to have a partner that shares the joys and responsibilities in our daughters’ lives equally.
