I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed photographing Sarah and Chad’s wedding! First of all, there could not be two people who took the whole situation with COVID and how it affected their wedding plans more in stride. Although they had their heart set on a big Sun Valley wedding that was already planned, they were so excited to just be married to each other, that they embraced the idea of celebrating with a small group of family at their ranch in Rexburg.

The sprawling ranch, purchased by Sarah’s grandpa in the 90’s for the family to hunt and fish on, is stunning. Sarah got ready with her girls in one of the hunting cabins, while Chad fished with the boys and his 3-year-old nephew. As everyone prepared for the wedding, the most dramatic storm blew through—the sky opened up, dumping buckets of rain—but slowly it cleared, just in time for the ceremony, creating the most gorgeous light. What an adventure you are already on, Sarah and Chad! I am so honored to have been a part of your special day!
